Aquincum Museum
Address: 1031 Budapest, Záhony street 7.The Roman settlement had 40,000 inhabitants in its heyday. Ruins of a large public square, a large and a double bath, a shopping centre, dwelling house, mosaics and Mithras sanctuary.
Tje five rooms of the museum contain utensils, weapons, cultic articles and ornaments. The most precious exhibit is a portable water-organ from 228 AD.
