Kempinski Budapest Hotel: news // 05/22/2007
Spring not quite over but summer not quite there, this unique time of the year lures more and more of us outdoors. Budapest's blooming trees don a splendidly colorful wig of foliage while the boulevards and bars' terraces buzz with people basking in the first rays of the sun. As the days are dragging longer, we do and achieve more - be it for business or pleasure.
Work first: after some months of painstaking remodeling, the refurbished Business Center of the Budapest Kempinski Hotel Corvinus on the first floor is now fully operational. They have added more computers and designed a more comfortable work area to fit in with the hotel's overall ambience. To improve conference organizers' working environment, the hotel has opened a dedicated room, while access to the Airservice World Wings and Euroffice offices is also direct from the hallway.
All ready and steady for the high season, the management team is complete with three new members in the Human Resources and Food & Beverage departments. In the way of leisure, the Deák street side of the Kempinski Hotel Budapest is now graced with "Fashion Street", where the Terrace is located. This quiet pedestrianized stretch is home to a growing number of fashion shops, Boss, Max Mara and Hilfiger among them, sitting pretty in the very center of the city but sheltered from its bustle.
