Hotel data till the end of August, 2008 // 17/09/2008

According to the newest data of the Hungarian Central Statistical Office, in the first eight months of the year the three-, the four- and the five-star hotels realised 58% occupancy rate.The gross room price and the number of roomnights has decreased by 1%. The gross room rate (Gross ARR) was 17 400 HUF (70 Euros) in the above period and it was extremly high in the 5-star category hotels, it reached 35 800 HUF, that is 144 Euros. The downtown four- and the countryside four- and five-star hotels validated averagely 13 200–17 200 HUF (53–69 Euros), the three star categroy hotels were around 8700–11 000 HUF (35–44 Euros).
